|SPAdes 2.5.1: a single-cell genome assembler||QUAST 2.2: a quality assessment tool for genome assemblies|
Algorithmic Biology Lab was founded at St. Petersburg Academic University of the Russian Academy of Sciences, led by Dr. Pavel Pevzner and Dr. Max Alekseyev, and supported by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science (Decree 220, “mega-grant”).
The labs solves important algorithmic and computational problems of contemporary genomics and proteomics. We collaborate with leading experts in bioinformatics from United States and Russia.
Currently, we're working on the following projects:
- Novel approach to sequencing and genome assembly.
- Novel approach to identification and sequencing of proteins, antibodies and antibiotics.
The lab is located in St. Petersburg, Russia.
